Kripa is a Sanskrit word that means grace, compassion, or divine blessing. It signifies unconditional love, kindness, and the transformative power of grace in healing and personal growth.

The name Kripa reflects the heart of this practice - offering a safe, compassionate, and nurturing space for healing, self-discovery, and wholeness. Rooted in the essence of grace, Kripa Counselling supports individuals on their journey inward, helping them reconnect with their true selves, restore balance, and cultivate deeper inner peace. Through compassionate guidance and deep inner work, healing becomes not just possible, but truly transformative.

I believe that healing happens in a space of deep safety, connection, and attunement. My approach is person-centred, experiential, somatic, and transpersonal, meaning that I meet you where you are, honor your unique experience, and support you holistically—mind, body, and spirit. In our sessions, I offer a compassionate and nurturing environment for you to explore your emotions, uncover the root causes of your challenges, and develop meaningful strategies for lasting change. My goal is to help you cultivate greater peace, balance, and regulation in your daily life.I specialize in Somatic Experiencing, a therapeutic approach that supports the body's natural ability to heal from trauma and stress. By gently guiding you through this process, I help you reconnect with your body, allowing it to release stored tensions and emotions. This work not only alleviates immediate symptoms but also fosters long-term resilience and emotional stability.

Together, we will create a space where healing unfolds naturally, empowering you to move toward greater self-awareness, well-being, and wholeness.

Somatic Experiencing® (SE)

Somatic Experiencing® (SE) is a body-focused therapeutic approach designed to help release stress, trauma, and emotional tension stored in the nervous system. When we experience overwhelming situations, our bodies instinctively react to protect us—often by holding onto that stress long after the event has passed. Over time, this can lead to anxiety, emotional dysregulation, chronic stress, or feeling "stuck" in survival patterns like fight, flight, or freeze.

At the core of my practice is the Person-Centred Approach, which means that you are at the heart of the healing process. This approach is based on the belief that every individual has the innate capacity for growth, healing, and self-discovery when provided with the right support and environment.
